Holiday Hop Thanksgiving

Hope you enjoyed your visit to Kim's Stamp, Scrap, Get Kreative. I was very excited to get working on this hop since Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It is either because of the colors or the sweet potato pie. I think its really the pie, which is by far my favorite dessert. For the Hop, I continued with my 3-D challenge and actually made three different projects all with my favorite coffee lover in mind.  The Autumn Meadows DSP from the Holiday Mini make it a perfect Thanksgiving gift.

This gorgeous mug is an adaptation of the famous "pillow box" bucket that is all over Splitcoast. It makes such a great gift with a packet of hot chocolate, cookie, and marshmallows and chocolate chips in a small cello bag. By using textured Chocolate Chip cardstock, I added some interest along with a band of Autumn Meadows DSP. The bear from Cold and Coldly was perfect with his mug in Really Rust. TIP: Be sure to to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect place of the mug. Chocolate felt ribbon I got from the clearance rack and a Latte button finish off my decoratons.

The card was a new technique using my scallop edge punch from this great tutorial from Dawn. I used Chocolate Chip and More Mustard cardstock.  The card was accented with the chocolate felt ribbon and hats from the Cold and Coldy set stamped in Versamark.
On the inside, I stamped Da Gracias (Celebraciones Especiales Level 1 Hostess Set) in Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla. TIP: Many of Stampin' Up's stamp sets come in Spanish and French and offer a great way to make a gift in someone's native language.

I learned this cute purse gift card holder from another tutorial. It was too cute to pass up and perfect to add that Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks gift card for that coffee lover in your life. The card is made from 6x6 piece of Autumn Meadows DSP.  The top cover is a textured Chocolate Chip cut with my Big Shot and Top Note die. Chocolate satin ribbon form my handle. The sentiment from Cold and Coldly is stamped in Chocolate Chip on More Mustard and layered over Really Rust. The holder on the inside is a strip of Chocolate Chip, punched with 1 3/8" circle punch to create a nice pocket. The walrus from the same set is stamped in Chocolate Chip and punched out with the scallop circle punch and adhered to the gift card pocket.

Check out all the other great stampers and continue on the hop as we showcase all that Stampin’ Up! has to offer – from rubber stamps, designer paper, embellishments, and much more.  Don't forget to Save the Date for the next Hop on December 1st.

Very cute projects!

As usual, beautifully coordinated projects and so fun! I also really like your tip about making cards in someone's language. Very wise!

Adorable Kalsheila. Thanks for reminding of how cute this set can be - I've neglected it terribly!

Wow! Can I just say that you are quickly becoming my favorite paper crafting artist? I truly love all of your stuff. I keep noticing it on split coast too. Thank you so much for sharing!

Wow! All your projects are really fabulous!! I like 3D projects, that is one of the reason I came to SU. It was very clever using Spanish in one of your projects (thanks for thinking in me) it can appeal to a whole different group of people. I will definitely CASE you very soon!
Thanks for sharing!!

Love it. And now I want some of those Lu cookies, too!

Super projects! Thanks for the inspiration and the links to the tutorials and order info. Looks like a number of posters got into the clearance rack for this hop! No wonder there's very little left!

Hugs from a sister demo - Jean

Cute, cuddly and terrific. You made so many amazing items . . . what a die hard! I love the "medallion" with the scallop edge punch. Very cool. Hugs, M
