PPA 17: Don't Worry, Be Happy!!!
I trust everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I sure did. I went by a friends' home and enjoyed a great Southern meal in NJ. I also did my own cooking to make sure DH had leftovers for the weekend. I fried my very first Turkey and boy did it taste delicious. I don't think I will roast again. My house is still intact after the fact, which is equally great. I did a bit of shopping on Black Friday. No craft stuff, but I did manage get all the kids on our list taken care of. We now have around 20 children who we shop for. I just get lots of toys and games. PJs are my new big hit this year.
- The card base was Chocolate Chip, cut 5 1/2 by 4 1/4
- The first layer is of Hawaiian Papaya DSP (retired). I just loved the colors and had to use it
- The scalloped squares are actually two layers, one in chocolate chip and the other in pumpkin. I alternated colors to add to some interest
- The images from Darling Dots are stampes in Old Olive and the Dusty Durango on Whisper White and punch out with a 1" circle punch
- Striped grosgrain ribbon in Pumpkin Pie accent the final card
