Have a Heart for Haiti

We all know and feel for the people of Haiti during this time. It's always great to be reminded that people care and even more that organizations care. It is because of things like this, why Stampin' Up is such a great company. As a child of the Caribbean with many friends from Haiti, my heart aches at what is happening. I try to do all I can to give and offer comfort. Now, Stampin' Up is giving you the opportunity to give. Because this is a effort very near and dear to me personally, I will be donating $1 for every comment left on this post to Red Cross for Haiti Relief.

From now until February 28, 2010, Stampin' Up will donate $2 for every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set to the American Red Cross's Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is one of the few recommended organizations to give to because they are already well established in Haiti so you can be assured that this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to those in need. If you were already thinking to buy the stamp and even if you weren't, this is great opportunity to do something for you but also help others. This is wonderful! Not only are you making our world better by donating to relief in Haiti, but you are helping people express their creativity, connect with each other and share love through beautiful cards!!! :) Congratulations!

I didn't know you were from the Carribean. That is beautiful that you are providing your own donation as well. As always your blog inspires me.

I am happy to comment and have personally donated as much as I could to help out in Haiti. I applaud you for this!
